So... What is Science? What can Science, as a procedure or method, do? Is it limited? If so, by what?

I think that Science is the study of the world around us. Not only the Earth but also the universe. It is empowered by the curiosity that humans of what is unknown. Science can do almost anything as a procedure or method. It can discover, it can explore, it can help create new medicine or technology, and it can help us understand the world we live in. Science is limited by the resources that are available to us, and also especially by our ability to think and comprehend the world. If we could drive ourselves to new discoveries and ideas that would help to discover and explore new places I think science wouldn't be so limited. We could discover new things that would help us develop technology we could use in other sciences and so we could create a cycle of some sort, but for now science is limited.

I believe that science is not limited to anything except our imaginations. Sooner of later we will find what we are looking for. I we are looking for the reason why energy can not be destroyed we could, we probably do. Sooner or later science will be figured out by a curious minded scientist. What I want to know is if we can travel to the big bang the scientists are looking at, or if the universe ends and restarts again in a loop.

Man will always keep moving forward. Ask the people who were born in the seventies who thought a cell phone was just a prop from star trek. The technology we have at the time may seem to limit science but when it improves science becomes a little more complex, and interesting.

science is the way of discovering what's in the universe and how those things work today. Science is basically man's ability to want to understand more about the world around us. science can do anything as a procedure or method, but it is limiting because of the technology that we have. science continues to evolve every day.

Science is the way we understand and study the earth, galaxies and universe. It is also used for medicine, electronics, technology and much more. By using methods and procedures, scientists can discover the way things work, the steps to the conclusion and the best way to reach the goal. Does science limit us, I don't think so. There are so many forms of science that have changed our lives in so many ways for the better and I think there is a lot more to come. In science everything is possible. Scientists will keep on discovering and making new things and we will keep on learning, there is so much more out there to be researched and explored.

I think that science is the meaning of this world, without science we wouldnt be able to call this world Earth, we wouldnt know the parts of the earth or anything that was happening to it. Without science we wouldnt have anything we have now-a-days. We wouldnt have technology, or any kind of medicines. Science is also the defintion of knowledge, because everything we know, comes from science. Science gives you a better and deeper meaning of the earth. Science is definetly not limited, because if we look back in time, we would not have the technology we have today, so everyday is a new day, and everyday something is found out.

I believe that science is something used everyday, no matter what you are doing You are using science whether you know it pr not. Science can also do what ever you want it to do like if you want science to help you jump a from building to building it can help you do that. Science is only limited to the mind of the scientist and the tool he/she has to work with.

In my opinion, science is the way of life and the way that we study everything in the world around us. I believe that we can experiment on anything and just keep moving forward and making up newer things. Science is the way the world is made up and by knowing some science it helps you move on and learn newer things. Science can do almost anything by procedures and methods. By using science as a procedure/method we can understand the way people look at things. We can also understand how everything is completed and made up step-by-step. I believe that science is not limited and i dont think it will ever be very limited. My reason being that people discover new things everyday and because of this our Earth and Humans are moving forward. Science comes from the past though Without knowing things from the past we would not know how to do many things.Science is everywhere and it just keeps coming.

I believe that science is all around us in many different ways! There are many of different ideas about since and how it works! I like how one of the people in the video say "We can do science and with it improve our lives" Which is so true the more we know about human nature, ecosystems, galaxies, or even global warming the more we can discover about how it effects us and how we can help. Also with science you can go back in time and get a feeling of what it was like when dinosaurs where around, or what the big bang was like! As they say in the movie science IS the poetry of reality! The only limit that is in science is our knowledge and understand! There are lots of secrets about our world that we haven't yet discovered!

I believe science is so many things its hard to describe. In my opinion its more like a process. A process in which we all use everyday to discover or uncover. I love the line "Scientists love mysteries. They love not knowing." It reminds us no one is ever going to know absolutely everything about this world. There is always going to be something new. I think science is limited just about pretty much everything in the world. The resources and technology that we have available could potentially limit science but in the future I'm sure we will find a solution.

When I hear the word science i think of scientist dressed in the long black coats mixing things together or on the bunts and burner. But when someone ask what is science i think it is how you find something out. I love when they say science is the poetry of reality. If you think about it science is all around you. Science can help us discover things we never new to make it a better world. Science as a method or procedure can benefit man kind and it can improve things. i dont think science is limited because people are discovering and inventing things everyday making other things better. And then something else will be discovered and improve the other thing and so on. And it will be a cycle over and over again.

Science is an activity carried on by humans that is designed to discover information about the natural world in which humans live in. In Science you use this information to discover useful ways it can be used for our benefit. I believe the main Idea of science is about gaining a deeper and very useful understanding of the world. Science can do a lot of things it can do an unlimited amount of things. We have gone from carriages to cars, from sailing to flying on airplanes. People actually though the world was flat and look how far we have come. I couldn’t imagine what kind of world we would have if science wasn’t in our lives. It is a very important aspect in our lives that everyone should appreciate.

Science can do almost anything but it is limited because it cannot tell us things that don't have a testable hypothosis. Science can tell us about many things around us but it cannot tell us things about what is morally rite or wrong. Science can "Science can reveal how the world is, but not how it should be." (Castro & Huber, 2010) Science is limited by the brain power of humans, and the technology that has yet to be invented. Science is a tool or method used to find out things about the world around us.

Science i think is the study of every thing around us that we can see and not see weather it's 5 feet or millions miles away.Right now we can only do what we have as resources and the limited amount of equipment and some things won't come back. right now i think it is and will always be limited because you will never have all the amount of resources we have and also.We are in 2010 in 2050 they will be laughing because they will wounder how we could not a accomplish the task but by then they will have the right equipment and resources to do the experiment

Science, I believe, is the discovery of how our universe works, and deciphering the basic principles of the inner working of our world. In short, what makes the world tic. Josh puts up a good idea; man has been evolving technology, but eventually I think we will hit a road stop eventually, and that is when, I think, when we discover that infinity becomes the answer, when we cannot decipher where somethings ends, that is what I think will eventually hinder further development of technology and discovery. This is what, in my belief, limits science: the concept of infinity.

I believe that science is the nature and being of the world. All things can be solved but all it takes is a bit of time to find the solution and facts about the questions all over the world. Science is an activity carried on by humans that is designed to discover information about the natural world in which humans live in, and to discover the ways in which this information can be organized into meaningful patterns and data. A primary aim of science is to collect facts in order to find solutions to questions and ideas. But in many ways science can help solve questions that puzzle many. Every day we find that science is all around us, each day scientists find and solve new ideas and questions each day.

Science is how we understand how things work. Everything in life can be explained by science. Science helps us discover new things and new technology. There are so many things that haven't yet been discovered by science. I dont believe'science is limited. I think there is a scientific explanation for everything, even things we haven't discovered yet. Science could even explain how life started and how it will end.
