SCIENCE!

Picture
From left to right, this is a picture of a red blood cell, a platelet, and a white blood cell.  What do you already know about cells?  What do you want to learn about cells?  Based on what you do already know about cells, is there anything that you find totally fascinating?

I am excited for learning about cells. And I know a bit about them.

I think it is a picture off white blood cells. I don't know know much about blood cells I know there small and I know there in your blood. I would like to know exactly how big a white cell is and a red cell is. I also want to know if a bunch of red cells make the blood red and white cells make the blood white. Finally I would like to know if white blood cells and red blood cells ever mix in blood.

That's my answer :)and those cells or what ever they are look yucky

If there is any thing I know in science I know about cells and platelets. The red blood carry blood and oxygen around the body. Platelets help clot the blood whenever you get a cut. If your platelets are not working properly when you get a cut you can end up bleeding to death. White blood cells help fight diseases and extra germs in the body.I want to learn what they are made up of and what allows them to live.

Rikkoi, you're absolutely correct. Well done.
What do we know about the insides of cells, specifically plant and animal cells?

I don't know much about cells. I know that they make up every living or once-living thing in the universe. I also know that we are made up of billions upon trillions of them, and other creatures, like the amoeba, are made up of one.
I would like to learn how many different types of cells there are, and if cells rub off on us when we touch something. Mr. Erdosy said that dust is mainly skin cells. If so, then why is dust a greyish colour?
I think that the cells in themselves are completely fascinating. I mean, they are us and everything are them. It's incredible.
I would like to point out that in Rikkoi's comment,"The red blood carry blood and oxygen around the body," I would like to point out that red blood cells ARE blood.

I know that cells are any size things. Cells in our body carry oxygen around the heart we know them as red blood cells they carry oxygen around to muscles that need oxygen.

cells make up every single thing on the universe from one cell plankton to trillion cell human beings. we have a few type of cells in our body red blood cells and white blood cells. red blood cells carry oxygen around the body and white blood cells are the guardians of our body's they fight off bacterial and viral diseases. animal cells are made up of 3 main things, they are Cell Membranes Cytoplasm and Nucleus. the cell membranes works like a screen. It lets the good things in like nutrients and lets the bad things out like waste. It is like a sieve. a cytoplasm is the jelly like part of the cell where the action takes place. It is where the nutrients are used. a nucleus is the brain of the cell. It controls the cell, and tells it what to do. The nucleus also contains the DNA, it is this DNA that lets the cell reproduce.

i think the one on the left is the red blood cell and the one on the right is the white blood cell

First mr erdosy, i thought that red blood cells were red? Now that i know there not they look cool ok let get down to business: I already know that they bring blood from your heart to different parts of your body. They also fight off any bacteria or bad things in your body. When you get Cancer, your blood cell count goes down and in 27 days your blood cells die. When your skin sheds, they have lots of little blood cells in them. I would like to learn more about blood cells. I want to know what would happen if we had no blood cells?

I know that red blood cells are all over our body's working all night and all day. I want to know how muck blood cells are in a pint of blood? It is going to be nice to learn how every living thing has a cell!!

What I already know about cells is every living thing is made of cells and they multiply to replace the lost cells. Red blood cells bring air to our tissues. Red blood cells get air from our lungs. What I want to know about cells' capabilities.

What I already know about blood cells is the difference between white blood cells and red blood cells. The white ones fight sickness and defend your body. Red blood cells send messages to your brain. Like if you touch something hot the red blood cells send a message to your brain and tells you that its hot yawo!

i already know that there are many different type of cells and I also know that cells take everything that you eat or drink and carries to where it needs to be. i also know that there is at least one cell in each organism. For example humans have trillions!!!! I would like to know how cells know what to do and how to do it? I would also like to know why the red blood cell in the picture isn't red? I would also like to know what organism has only one cell??? I find that how the cells actually do what they need to do is extremely fascinating!!!!!!
